If you’re new to the station, let me introduce myself, my name is AL Breiten, but most people know me as Indiana AL. (No I’m not from Indiana. The name comes from “Indiana Jones” the movie) Along with my On-Air shift, I am also “Events Director” for the radio station. Which means I’m in charge of all the on-site events. It’s busy, but it’s fun. It’s all about the entertainment.
As a teenager, I decided I wanted to go into the entertainment business. I wanted to throw parties, have fun, and make people laugh. A Radio Personality does all that and more.
I guess you can say I started my career in High School, Mt. Pleasant High School in the East Side of San Jose, I was President of the Drama Club and the school Mascot.
Yes, I said East Side of San Jose, and I’m proud of it. I grew up in “Da Hood”, (Story and White). Don’t believe everything you hear about the East Side, it's not as bad as some say. I love the fact that I beat all those stupid statistics about the East Side. I've never been involved in a drive by shooting and never been in a gang fight.
