If you think you’ve heard my voice somewhere before, you’re right!
For 22 years I was the morning voice of KRTY’s sister station, 105.7 KARA—of Santa Clara. From 1980 to 2002, I helped Bay Area radio listeners start their mornings with my signature phrase “Get your buns out of bed!”.
Now, I’m delighted to be back with my Empire Broadcasting family working weekends at KRTY.
When I’m not behind the microphone, I’m busy being a wife, mom, laundress, cook, gardener, plumber, tutor, party-planner, wallpaper stripper, seamstress, psychologist, chauffeur, accountant, maid, personal shopper, interior decorator, yadayadayada and wishing time would freeze because our kids are growing up way too fast.
My son Sam is a High Schooler—6 feet tall and getting taller by the second. He lives and breathes football, Nintendo Wii and Improv Comedy.
My daughter Hannah is flourishing in Middle School, loves soccer, plays piano and is into rocks. (not rock and roll…just rocks.) She’s also probably on the phone AND I-M-ing her girlfriends right this very minute!
